It was a meet & greet to remember.
Saturday May 24th at Miss Lily’s in NYC was the place to be, members of KES the Band were there to meet with their fans. I got there a little after 3pm and the music maestros were already there. A flock of fans gathered around Kees Dieffenthaller, anxiously awaiting their turn.
Finally it was my turn to meet one of my favorite singers, he was so kind, patient and even drew me a rose as part of his autograph. We spoke about bacchanal radio, he expressed his knowledge of the station, boy was I happy. Jon, Hans and Raid also a pleasure to speak to.
A few hours later we were all serenaded by a few of Kees hits including his latest #endless summer. Wow he is truly talented it was amazing to experience his singing up close and personal.
