R Rajkumar proves to be an entertaining movie studded with immense levels of action for that adrenaline rush. (Shahid Kapoor) known quintessentially for bringing mammoth life to his characters did the same for this movie. He plays R Rajkumar a heroic role as a one man demolition army. Romeo depicts a grueling tough guy who transcends into a different world when he sees his “lollipop” Chanda played by (Sonakshi Sinha). Chanda is also a resilient girl who isn’t afraid to scold any man who harasses her.

Within the plot of the movie, there are 2 drug dons, the muscular Shivraj (Sonu Sood) and Parmar (Ashish Vidyarthi). Raj joins Shivraj and quickly becomes his main right hand man and battles Parmar, but Raj soon realizes that Parmar is lollipop’s uncle and ironically the dons shake hands and mend their war by offering his niece to him. That is when a love triangle begins.

The movie itself via production had great fluency and also showcases breathtaking scenic shots that Indian movies are known classically for. The Director, (Prabhu Deva) delivered a great cast of actors who portrayed brilliant roles in this stunning Bollywood action-masala film

R Rajkumar displays an overload of action coupled with a degree of comedy relief and that sassy romance vibe in this modern day inspired clash of hero vs. tyrant. With an excess of noise and constant fighting, holistically the movie however did not deliver strongly enough to move every emotion. The songs nevertheless are enjoyable as directed by Prabu Deva also; contains extraordinary dance moves paired with majestic backdrops.

In summary, Raj Rajkumar proves to be a onetime watch.
